I should listen to the little one and say, "good night."

Welcome to the 3rd Trimester
We have officially entered the third trimester. Max is becoming a big boy cramped in a tiny space. After he mastered karate chopping me in my vital organs, he has now moved onto getting a black belt in kicking me under the ribs. I smile though because I know it is short lived and soon I will miss those movements. As you can tell in the photo, the belly has grown to large proportions. Who knows how large it will be in June for the baby showers?! Baby Max should be coming in at 2.5lbs and 15 inches long. This Wednesday is my big third trimester doctor visit where I have my glucose screening and all the fun blood work. Yippy! From then on I will begin seeing my doctor every 2 weeks. And hopefully we will get another ultrasound in so we can share in Max's growth and not just go by website averages. Today, Tyler and I took a tour of the hospital. We learned all kinds of crazy stuff that just reminded me how much we have yet to learn about the birthing experience. For instance, vitamin K shots for the baby (do or don't?). The tour was very reassuring though that we will receive the birthing experience that we want in addition to a private room which is a must for me. Oh, there was a kick from Max. He says hello! Or maybe he is telling me to lay down, turn off the light, and go to sleep. One thing I am thankful (so far) is that he has been relatively still at night. Fingers crossed he stays that way for the remainder of the pregnancy.

Yayyy for pregnant photo! You look so cute with your baby bump! I'm happy Max isn't kicking too much at night. It's crazy how far along you are - not too much longer!
